John Donica

John Donica, a Moldovan-born filmmaker based in Tokyo, specializes in documentaries, fiction films, music videos, and commercials. A graduate of the Academy of Music Theater and Fine Arts, his work has been featured at IDFA, Vision du Réel, and Busan ISFF. He founded SomniumFilm and worked on Instruments of a Beating Heart (2024) and Toh Ti Ani Fuji (2023).
