A Fascinating Mirage
Jordan fascinates the living daylights out of me. I felt it in every vein of my body the first time I visited in 2018, and again on my last visit this year. The beating heart of the Mediterranean Middle East packs so many attractions into one country that it’s impossible for any traveller not to find a place, landscape, or activity to fall heavily in love with.
A cinematographic desert? Check Wadi-Rum. First-class diving? Step right in from the shores of Aqaba. A journey far back into time? There’s Petra, one of the world’s wonders, and other ancient legacies such as Um Qais or Jerash. Feel like hiking or biking? The Jordan Trail and the Jordan Bike Trail will wear out the soles of your boots, the tires of your bike and probably your camera’s memory cards.
But there’s more. Take Amman, for example. A city that treasures a thriving cultural and artistic life, of which the graffiti on the walls of its buildings is just an artistic sample. Or the lush green north of the country, where you’ll find lush oak forests, protected biospheres and some amazing canyoning opportunities.
We urge you to travel to Jordan. To discover its natural, cultural, and gastronomic diversity. To enjoy the kindness and hospitality of its people. Jordan has it all.
