Palestine: Heart of the Holy Land
“What a surprise my adventure on the West Bank was. The towns and cities, the people, the magnificent food, its nature, culture, history and legacy. Palestine blew me away”
To be honest, I never thought about travelling to Palestine. It was never on my bucket list. But, by a stroke of luck, I had the opportunity to jump from neighbouring Jordan into Palestine. And I didn’t hesitate.
I didn’t know anything about Palestine. Just the things that had come to me through the media since I was a child. The usual. No need to go deeper into that here. But beyond an unfair clash that seemed – and seems – eternal, I knew nothing about its culture, landscapes or cuisine. I did not expect anything. It turned out to be the best starting point for this journey: when you expect nothing, everything is a surprise. And what a surprise my adventure on the West Bank was. Or better said, it was a non-stop ongoing surprise. The towns and cities, the people, the magnificent food, its nature, culture, history and legacy. Palestine blew me away.
Join us on this adventure in an area far from mass tourism. A destination which hides endless treasures. Palestine was not on my list but, it should definitely be on yours. It is a country that truly had the ability to transform you.
